Barco Tool Co. – USA Wrecking Bars, Hammers & Axes

Barco is a small US manufacturer (Reading, PA) that has carried both imports and USA tools, but recently has started moving heavily toward complete USA manufacturing. They make USA wrecking bars, hammers and axes. We currently only carry their wrecking and pinch point crowbars, but I just put an order together for a bunch of [...]

Bonney Tool Board

Look what I found behind the 2nd floor elevator door. Also, just posted some artsy warehouse window pics on Epstein’s facebook page.

ToolGuyd

In the continuing list of people we like comes: ToolGuyd. It’s a blog about tools with in-depth reviews, news about tool deals, links to tool coupons and a whole lot more. All in all, we give it the Epstein’s thumbs up. PS Epstein’s doesn’t do the coupon thing. We just try to offer the lowest [...]

A trip to Wilde Tool Co.

Took a trip yesterday to Wilde Tool and learned a lot about this great family tool company. (Thanks everyone for showing me around!) I got some good video of their manufacturing processes and hopefully will put something together in the next month or so. In the meantime, there’s a lot of pictures to look at, [...]

Armstrong & Gearwrench

Because of the Cooper/Danaher merger we can now start to carry Armstrong and Gearwrench. We are busily looking through their catalogs and trying to decide what to carry, so if you would like to put your two cents in, let us know in the next week.

USA Wooden Handled Wilde Screwdriver Set

Behold the power of user commentary on the Daily Dispatch! We had a customer comment about Wilde’s wooden handled screwdriver set and now we are regularly stocking it! It’s a 7 piece, 100% US made, wooden handled screwdriver set. It’s got the #1 and the #2 phillips and a whole bunch of slotted: 1/8″ X [...]

Wilde Modded Ratchet

A modded ratchet is a ratchet that is “modded’ by putting a screwdriver handle on it. There are many examples of guys doing this on garagejournal.com and thegaragegazzette.com. I liked the idea so much that I sent a USA Granco ratchet that we had in the warehouse over to our friends at Wilde Tool Co [...]

51 Percent

UPDATE: I talked to a few people and here’s what they’re saying. Pretty much that there is no new law or no new requirements, but that certain kits are falling into gray areas in terms of what laws apply to them. Certain kits, especially the ones that are put on military bases, can still be [...]

Wilde Pliers

Wilde’s little pliers is the 5S. Channellock also makes a little pliers, the 424, except with the standard blue grips on it, and it’s a groove joint instead of a slip joint. Man, that’s a little picture. It’s a little shorter than the 5S, but not by much.
