So a small lake has been forming for the last three or four months next to us in the parking lot of The Lucas Place. If you are not familiar with The Lucas Place, it is a owned by a delinquent landlord in California and has been vacant for sometime. It used to house some important Kansas City businesses like Geno Shiraldi’s Pizza, The Edge and HOK, the sports stadium architecture firm, but is now used exclusively as a bathroom for homeless people. Such are the joys of having your business in downtown Kansas City. People walking down the sidewalk will stop and take pictures, some throw money in. It’s started to get quite a following, so if you don’t have any plans this memorial day, or if the Lake of the Ozarks seems too far away, come on down. We’re not sure who put up the sign, but we like it

This lake is -ideal- for R/C boating during your lunch break.
