Exciting new stuff! My wife is a professional gardener and I’m always looking to buy more USA gardening tools to have around the store. All of the following items come from C.S. Osborne, a small US manufacturer that’s been around since 1826. Above is what CS Osborne refers to as an “Asparagus Knife”. It’s perfect for getting deep under the roots of weeds. Nice wooden handle. Forged steel. Pretty sweet.
Ok, so here’s a US manufactured garden trowel, stamped out of one piece of sheet metal with a wood handle and it’s only $3.75. What else can you say?
Another USA made trowel and it’s only $4.95. This one is for transplanting and has the measurements on the blade so you know how deep you’re going into the ground.
Ok, so enough gardening stuff. We used to sell tons of tools to the mom and pop farm stores all over the country. A lot of them don’t exist anymore, but we know that people still use these hay baling hooks, and they look awesome, so if you’re not into back breaking farm work, you could always hang it above your desk to let people know you mean business.
Here is a USA Grommet kit, complete with brass grommets, a grommet tool and a hole punch. Notice the old timey card stock that they still use.
Not sure if we can sell these, but I thought I’d give it a shot. It’s a USA 4 pc Bearing Scraper Set. Nice wood handles. Beautifully finished steel. Comes in a canvas pouch.
Oops. I almost forgot this guy. A USA Transfer Punch Set. I am trying to get a USA equivalent to most of the import items we carry. We’ve always carried the MIT transfer punch set, and I just wasn’t satisfied with it. The USA version is a little more money, but it’s totally worth it.
