A No. 10 Stainless steel Opinel knife with a corkscrew, but not just any corkscrew. This is the same corkscrew that is used by world renowned corkscrew maker Chateau Laguiole. I’ve actually never heard of him, but it sounds awfully impressive and it looks really well made. Perfect for picnics! Blade is 12C27 MOD Sandvik Stainless Steel. Overall length 9 1/16. Blade length 3 15/16.
My brother loves mushroom hunting so I couldn’t pass up this fancy Opinel mushroom knife. Created by Opinel to make it easier to cut and prepare mushrooms, this tool has a thin, curved blade with a serrated back, for easy removal of the cuticle. Its natural varnished beech handle incorporates a genuine boar hair brush for easy removal of soil. Pierced beechwood handle. 12C27 MOD Sandvik Stainless Steel Blade. 3 1/2″ blade.
I’m a sucker for gardening tools as well, so I got a selection of garden knives. This one looks the coolest. If you aren’t good at gardening you could always wave it around and pretend you’re Captain Hook. Curved blade bevelled on both sides, this is ideal for grape-picking, shrub pruning or cutting ties. Beechwood handle. 12C27 MOD Sandvik Stainless Steel Blade. 8″ overall length. 3 1/2″ blade. Folding knife with locking collar.
I don’t know how Opinel does it, but this folding saw is as light as a feather, but feels solid when you hold it. Real interesting locking mechanism holds the blade in place. Ideal for sawing branches with a diameter of up to 5 ¾ inches. Beechwood handle. 12C27 MOD Sandvik Stainless Steel blade. Very light and easy to handle. Replaceable blades sold separately.
