New Wetterlings Axes and Mora Knives

wetterlings bushcraft axe

This axe comes with two different names. The name on the sticker says “Bushcraft axe“, but the name that’s listed in the catalog is “Fine Forester’s Axe.” Nice slender handle with a cutaway on the head for more precise work. This axe, like all Wetterling’s, is hand forged in Sweden.

wetterlings short broad axe

Woah. Anyone looking to pull a Crocodile Dundee moment should look no further than this giant hunk of an axe. When first asked what the purpose of this Wetterling’s short broad axe was, the obvious response was, “to stand around and look bad ass,” but you could also do some serious logging work with one of these as well.

mora light my fire knife with firesteel

Continuing down this sharp and pointy road, we come to this new collaboration between Mora and Light My Fire. It is a beautifully made Swedish Mora knife, with the added bonus of having a fire steel in the handle. Lots more description in the listing. Comes in black and bright orange.
